‘Stillpoint 37’ by M2C is the first single from London record label Scrawl’s forthcoming compilation album ‘String It Together’ – a collection of new string works from 9 Scrawl-affiliated artists and composers exploring and experimenting with string instruments.

The compilation brings together a constellation of distinct and exploratory voices working within contemporary sound. Together, these artists extend the vocabulary of string practice through improvisation, avant-garde chamber music, improvisation, extended techniques, folk mutation and electroacoustic experimentation, creating a truly eclectic and expansive sonic landscape of contemporary string explorations.

Always searching for sounds that reflect my environment. Endlessly inspired by nature. I find this combination of oscillator and distortion delay is getting close to the folding of the waves. Made for the Margate Electronics show 05/12/25.
